Shelton Stampede 4th of July Run Race Description

WELCOME TO THE 2025 SHELTON STAMPEDE 4TH OF JULY RUN REGISTRATION PAGE!

REMINDER...OUR COURSE IS OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED! The USATF has certified our course and the documents are attached!

We are happy to be back for our 16th Annual Run! (Common Ground Coffee will be at our race!)

We will be having our raffle again this year. One free entry for each race registrant, but anyone can purchase more tickets for $1 or 6 for $5. We will have some cool items again this year!

There will be one combined 5k race with gender and age-specific medals (listed below), as well as, a single-mile race w/ new AGE DIVISIONS. Reminder: IF YOU ARE A TOP THREE FINISHER, YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR TROPHY BUT NOT THE AGE GROUP MEDAL. MEANING, YOU WON'T DOUBLE UP ON YOUR PRIZES. 

Race Times:

  • Race Day Registration & Check-in = 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM
  • 1 Mile = 8:00 AM
  • 5K = 8:30 AM

5k Age Divisions for Medals:

  • Top 3 Overall Males/Females = Trophies (Will NOT get age division medal, just trophy)
  • 1st Place Medals for These Age Divisions and Genders (top male and female in each division)
    • 19 & Under
    • 20-29
    • 30-39
    • 40-49
    • 50-59
    • 60 +

One Mile Race (Medals for Each Gender in Each Age Division):

  • 10 & U: Top three females and top three males
  • 11-14: Tope three females and top three males
  • 15 & O: Top two females and top two males

Shelton Stampede All-Time List and Top 25 Men and Women Performances

Something to try

This 5k was very different than some other I've done, however coming from Omaha there was surprisingly more competition. At home I can usually get top 3. But here I might have gotten like 20th! I am oh so grateful for this being put together. It's even better with most of my family living down here, so much of my family was able to make it and I can't wait to do it again.

Something to try

This 5k was very different than some other I've done, however coming from Omaha there was surprisingly more competition. At home I can usually get top 3. But here I might have gotten like 20th!
