Strokes Can Happen At Any Age

May is Pediatric Stroke Awareness Month! Although many people associate a stroke by one occuring in an older adult, a stroke can happen at any age. Even an unborn baby is at risk! It is important to know the warning signs as well as risk factors. This event is hosted by Naomi's Needs for Peds, a 501(c)(3) charity organization created in honor of Naomi Kretschmer, who suffered a stroke in utero. The charity provides financial support to families with special needs children. Please come show your support! The event will include a 5k Run/Walk, Kids Run, Inflatable Obstacle Course, Climbing Rock Wall, as well as a guest speaker who will share his personal experience with stroke. All ages and abilities are encouraged to come. Strollers, chairs, and wagons are welcome for the 5k.

Registration begins PROMPTLY at 10:00 A.M.
The Adult 5K Run/Walk begins at 11:00 A.M
The Children's Fun Run takes place at 12:00 P.M. (All runners receive a ribbon!)
Pre-registration ensures a t-shirt. There will be a limited supply of shirts for same-day registrations.
