Sweetheart Scoot Virtual 5K

February is the month of Love, and we like to celebrate the St. Valentine's Day holiday with this virtual 5K Run.

When: Complete your race any time during February 2017!

Where: You choose the course and you time yourself (you’ll report your finishing time to us).

Why: February is National Mental Health Awareness Month. 1 in 5 Americans experience mental illness. We want as many people running the Sweetheart Scoot this year, with your loved ones, thinking about these overwhelming odds, though once you've finished your virtual run, please split a bottle of champagne with your love ones to show how special they are to you, just the way they are. Be sure to check out the NAMI website and and see what they’re doing to help those afflicted with mental illness. Their website is at: http://www.nami.org

Cost: $25. Includes a custom medal and bib that will be shipped directly to you. Plus, at least 15% of every entry will be donated to NAMI, with another portion benefiting the Friends of Central Pool. Please note, we pay the registration fees, so you will be charged only the amount you selected, with no additional fees.

Long sleeve performance t-shirts for the event are available to you for $15 extra dollars at the time of registration.
