TCC Family Fun Run Race Description

The Cadence Center is a small non-profit organization that is striving to become a family justice center in Lunenburg County, Virginia. The mission of TCC is to bring together a multidisciplinary team of health care providers, social workers, law enforcement personnel and others who interact with victims of violent crime. Our race, which is being held during domestic violence awareness month, is our attempt at bringing a safe family friendly event to our community, while bringing awareness to such a critical topic. Our event will feature a 5K costume themed fun run, a Little Monsters fun run, and a mile event where gentlemen will "walk a mile in her shoes" in support of domestic violence awareness, by wearing high heel shoes. Men can wear heels in support of a loved one they know that has been a victim of violence, or just in support of a worthy cause. Come join us for an evening of food trucks, bounce houses, trunk or treat events and a family fun run that will be sure to leave the family talking!
