The Coach Spo's 5K, benefiting Nicklaus Children's Hospital and the Miami HEAT Charitable Fund Race Description

Join Miami HEAT Head Coach Erik Spoelstra on Sunday, December 22 at 7:30am for the first-ever Coach Spo's 5K benefiting Nicklaus Children's Hospital & the Miami HEAT Charitable Fund!

Come out for a day filled with energy, community, and fitness. This unique 5K RUN/WALK event welcomes everyone—from avid athletes to casual runners and loyal HEAT fans. Together, let’s promote health, teamwork, and community spirit!

The pre-holiday race kicks off and wraps up at Nicklaus Children's Hospital located at 3100 S.W. 62nd Avenue in Miami and includes appearances by Coach Spo, HEAT Legends, HEAT coaching staff, Burnie the mascot, Santa Claus himself, and other surprise appearances. Get motivated pre-race as HEAT Radio play-by-play and TV Host Jason Jackson leads a warm-up to get everyone moving and ready to hit the course!

As you run or walk, enjoy scenic Coral Gables and Schenley Park neighborhoods, passing landmarks like the Biltmore Hotel.

Post-race, hear inspiring words from Coach Spo on the importance of staying fit, taking care of your health, discipline, and giving back to our community. Stick around for a celebration featuring music, food trucks, a kid's fun zone, and chances to win HEAT merchandise, along with other surprises.

Don’t miss out—register today and be part of a day that’s all about fitness, fun, and giving back!

All proceeds will benefit Nicklaus Children's Hospital and the Miami HEAT Charitable Fund.
