The 2018 Finish Before You Start Run
You read that right, this race will start just before 2:00 AM at Daylight Savings time. Runners and walkers will complete a 2 mile loop or a 4 mile, 2- looped course through the early morning (late night?) lamp post lit streets of Waterloo, NE. Thanks to Mother Nature and Daylight Savings Time, once you've completed the course it will magically be before you started, and it might all have been a dream. This course will begin and end at the Fire Barn Sports Bar and Grill in Waterloo. To commemorate time travel, the theme for this event is Back to the Future and prizes will be given to the best dressed 80s themed costume.Enjoy a post-race party supported by Fire Barn. Proceeds will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

All walkers and runners welcome! Each runner that signs up will receive a commemorative stocking cap if you sign up by October 15th. This race is part of the Ironhawk #UnicornChallenge so watch for special unicorns hidden throughout the race!
We will have a very special prize for top three 80s themed costumes (based on community vote) as well as the male and female overall 1st through 3rd Place, plus 1st through 3rd in the following race categories for both male and female- Under 19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, Over 60.
Stay for the after party with food and beer from Fire Barn Sports Bar and Grill. We will have music and fun. We will be partying until 3 am.
