Great race
I wanted to try the new course on its first year and I was not disappointed. It was lovely! Running along the River walk trail was a lot of fun. As we went under the road there was a paper bullseye that said to hit it for power. I did, both directions. Running out to Mendon there was a splendid view most of the way of the beautiful snowcapped Wellsville Mountains. The people at the aid stations did a great job. The finish party was wonderful. It was nice to get a lunch. I loved being able to get a good night's rest before the marathon and arrive at the start 15 minutes before gun time. It was awesome to have so many distances to choose from. Some of my grand children ran the 1 mile Family Run and were thrilled to cross the finish line and get a finishers medal. The shirts were a nice design. I ran the Ogden Marathon this year. My Logan Marathon time was 10 minutes slower. I actually expected it to be a lot slower than that with it being a flat course. I qualified for Boston in both races. I do wish there had been mile markers for each mile. I also wish I had known exactly what food was going to be at each aid station. Most aid stations had fruit and breads along with Gatorade and water. Some had only drinks. The race info said that the one of the sponsors was Stinger so I expected to find Stingers at some of the aid stations but I never saw it. I did not stop at the half way aid station so maybe they were there. I ate fruit and a granola bar but would have carried a GU or something like a Stinger if I had understood it wouldn't be at the aid station. I also wish there had been trophies for the age group winners although it was fun have the age group winner prize be a Malouf pillow. Over all it was an outstanding race. I will definitely do it again with the many choices of distances.

Half marathon relay participant
This was such a beautiful course, the miles just seemed to fly by as you took in the beauty of being surrounded by nature. The course was well organized and everyone had the runners as the #1 concern! Having food available at the end was such a treat. I loved having pickles and pickle juice available during the run and the free massage at the finish line was welcomed! Great job Logan Marathon team!
Relay
Very well put together for this to be Troy's first time, the course was beautiful (I would add more signs to give more directions), the atmosphere in the starting line and the finish line was great (I would add more staff in the transition relay point and give medals to the finishers of the 1st half), overall great race!
Logan City Marathon ( a unique Marathon in its clase)
If you like to challenge yourself running a marathon this is what you have to run, it is a great course, beautiful views, running in part a long the Logan River, flat enough to speed up and some little up hills to make your legs tired, what you get for sign it up: a t-shirt, well stock aid station, nice medal at the finish line and my fav. part a full meal from different vendors a unique thing from other races, very safe and great people to run with, sure this is my humble opinion, don’t be deceived for what you can hear your have to run it to get your own experience of course any marathon is easy if you want it easy running it slow if you want to get the 100% and all the eximente of it then fly it, it is worthy. Ah! and the last part a profesional timing to get you time and pace if that matters to you, jajajaja. If you hadn’t run it before don’t miss it next year and if 26.2 is not your distance look the other options either way you always will have FUN.
Beautiful scenic views, flat and fast course
Despite being surrounded by mountains, the course is nearly pancake-flat. You get fantastic views of snow-capped mountains on both sides. Aid stations were plentiful and well-stocked, with items that you usually only find at races of ultra length. Spectator support, though sparse, was fantastic in areas where it was available. Be aware that, in 2019, at least, there was no signage at mile markers. Mileage can be divined by seeking out spray-painted markers...so this race isn't idea for anyone who wants to track their splits methodically. Still, this is a perfect marathon for anyone attempting the distance in all fifty states.
