The bike and run course has lots of hills so you really have to pay attention. It's well organized, supported and challenging. I'm an Ironman finisher many times over, and this is a good way to practice transitions and get some miles in while supporting a local organization.

Fabulous race. Starts in the world class olympic pool at Cottonwood Heights and rides between both canyons, finishing on a classic 5k route through the scenic neighborhoods. This race has great volunteers, very well organized and tons of SWAG and fun! I've raced many Ironmans and ITU World Championships and this race is just as much fun. What a treat to have this venue so close to home!
