West Georgia 15k/5k Where & When

Worth the drive
A long way from Atlanta but worth the early morning wake-up. Hilly and challenging course along traffic-free paved roads of scenic and rural Carroll County. The first cool, crisp run of the season, and the perfect tune-up test for your Fall long-distance race. So glad I found the GAA race series this year. They do a great job and their commitment to serve runners is genuine.
Retired
I like being in a race series. Some parts of this race were difficult but the course was smooth and no auto traffic was very nice. This race series has the absolute best photos and free makes for great memories and value. I like donating my shoes. The race staff is the best I have seen and I run alot. This is a fantastic group of volunteers that really care about the event. Food is awesome. Thanks everyone for very special running race series.

Great Race
The only down side of the race was at the end of the race there was someone on the intercom made a very hurtful comment. Due to a pull muscle, I finished toward the end, and the smart comment was mean.
Great (and, challenging) course!
My first West GA 5k. This was super, well-organized event. Challenging course with plenty of hills. Great turnout! Met a few new friends, too! Thanks so much!
Hard but very beautiful
As a tourist and in prepartion for a Halfmarathon back home I searched the web for a good opportunity to run around Atlanta. What I found is a very well organized but very hilly race( which makes you stronger) in the beautiful John Tanner Park in Carrollton. Highly recommended and I hope I can come back one day!? Cheers from Switzerland.
